Since 1990 the European Elevator Association (EEA), represents a large number of companies (SMEs as well as large corporations) who manufacture, install and maintain electrical and hydraulic lifts, escalators and moving walks including numerous “components manufacturers” covering all main families of lift & escalator components based at world level.

EEA is managed by a Management Committee (MC) designated by the Member companies that consists of one President and between 4 and 8 members. The MC plays the role of Strategic Committee for the association, closely following the safety, quality and environment issues that the lift, escalator and moving walk industry must tackle.
